Colin Wang, director
Colin Wang is a writer-director based in LA, currently studying at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. He is a 2023 Sundance Ignite Finalist. His work is hinged around an iterative process of humanistic storytelling. Every aspect of his work can be traced back to something real, something human.
His short "A Thousand Cars At Night Looks Like A Moving Train" premiered at the Academy Award-qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival in 2022, and was selected by Kickstarter as a "Project We Love".
His short “Rendezvous” premiered on Omeleto, a short film curating service with over 3 million subscribers, in 2022.
“Cloud Nine” won the Grand Jury Award at the Ivy Film Festival, the largest student-run festival in the world hosted by Brown University, and is currently in the festival circult.
